Yoko Sano
Displaying around 100 illustrations, prints, and manuscripts by the artist and essayist Yoko Sano (1938–2010), known especially for her best-selling children’s book “Hyakuman-kai Ikita Neko” (The Cat Who Lived A Million Lives), which has been made into a musical. Also featured are costumes and props from the stage performance, photographs from the artist’s childhood (some of which was spent in Yamanashi), her art supplies, a reading corner, and a photo spot with star character Toraneko.
