The exhibition showcases work by 34 artists under 40 chosen by museum curators, journalists, and researchers from around the country. This year’s VOCA Award was given to Yui Usui for her quilt work ‘our crazy red dots’. Usui’s work breaks down and reconstructs the Japanese ‘hinomaru’ or rising sun.
