Shigeki Fujishiro Exhibition

Ginza Maison Hermès
Finished

Artists

Shigeki Fujishiro
Product designer Shigeki Fujishiro is behind the current installation marking the 100th Ginza Maison Hermès window display. Organized around the 2018 Hermes theme “Let’s Play,” Fujishiro has installed a game in the window space. Watch as a rotating sphere disappears and reappears among the Hermès items also on display behind the glass.
In addition, a special website for Ginza Maison Hermès window displays, talk show events and other means has been created to commemorate this landmark 100th occasion. Here you can trace the origins and history of this mission to date. Furthermore, design critic Alice Rawsthorn writes about the social and creative meaning of window displays by referring to diverse range of works at Ginza Maison Hermès windows.
