Biennial solo exhibit by artist Kenji Saito. Saito lost his father during the Second World War at an early age and would later go on to report on the aftermath of the war in China, the Philippines, Okinawa, etc. Even in his 73rd summer, Saito continues to create artwork dedicated to peace.

“Neues” means “something new” in German. The name symbolizes Neues Asahi’s mission as a place that invites new ideas with strong roots in the local community. 
The goal is to foster communication and interaction, expanding the network of connections, resulting in an environment where people can make meaningful cultural contributions to the community.
