Tomoki Tajima, Makio Koide, Toshihiro Harada, Wakako Chiba, Yohei Nagasawa
This is the first photography exhibition for these five photographers of various ages and backgrounds. Tomoki Tajima has taken 300 black and white photographs of workers in Ginza a day, for a total of more than 10,000. Makio Koide shoots discarded items at canals and docks. Toshiba Harada takes pictures of scenery along the Kisuki Line running from Matsue to Hiroshima. Wakako Chiba’s experimental images capture light in casual moments. Yohei Nagasaki photographs fragments of extraordinary scenes in and around Tokyo. The individuality of each photographer shines through in their wide-ranging subject matter.
