Za-Koenji Documentary Festival looks to rediscover the appeal and possibilities of documentary beyond the boundaries of film and television.
The theme of this year’s screenings is “The Expressionists,” including documentaries that feature creators working in the fields of art, photography, music, theater and other genres. A number of talks will also be hosted, welcoming speakers such as actress Keiko Kishi and dancer Yasuyuki Shuto.
