MOT Annual is a group exhibition devoted primarily to young Japanese artists that explores MOT’s context in Tokyo, a city where disparate cultures and expressive territories coexist. The exhibition seeks to invite inquiry and discussion by focusing on one aspect of contemporary art. The 15th MOT Annual—the museum’s first since its renovation—will feature artists who engage in reading the objects and phenomena in their surroundings for portents of expression.
