Photographer Ryuji Miyamoto’s unique eye has captured scenes of destruction and rebuilding as part of architecture and urban transformation, as seen in previous series that shot demolition sites and high-rise slums in Hong Kong. Miyamoto passed away in March 2018, and BankArt published his “Kubi Kukuri Takuzo” (Hangman Takuzo) series of portraits in gardens that December. This exhibition displays images and makes the photo book available for purchase.
