Misako Yamamoto
Misako Yamamoto, a painter with a 50-year career, has recently been enthusiastically touring Japan and places abroad. Her works from those trips have been shown at a few exhibitions: “Scenery of the Roads” in 2015 at Gallery Azuma (Ginza Tokyo), “Journey, Daydreams” in 2018 at Gallery Create Raku (Kyoto), and the annual Kokuten show.

Gallery Pictor now presents works from the 2018 exhibition “Journey, Daydream” and further features Yamamoto’s ‘Memory’ series. The exhibition will be shown in two phases: The first section, “My Journey – Space,” is focused on sketches of landscapes in Japan and abroad. The second, “My Journey – Time” presents Yamamoto’s works inspired by historical masterpieces and her own roots.
