Inspired by peaceful and tranquil scenes from “within”, Asa Hiramatsu creates her work on a rich canvas formed by layers of oil paints, excavations, and polishing. For this exhibition, individual works that hitherto existed on their own are showcased together as an installation, forming a sort of map of Hiramatsu’s latest work and their correlation to each other.
