Tomohiro Shimizu
Tomohiro Shimizu is a painter who focuses on oils, scraping the paint away from the canvas to give form to his works. He is less interested in what to paint than how to paint it, experimenting with various methods to find something new. This exhibition presents these experimental works as well as his earlier paintings. Encountering these different techniques is like stepping into a unique world of enveloping fog.
