Takeshi Igawa
Presenting the work of Takeshi Igawa, a prize-winning ceramics artist who uses lacquer glazes in his work. In recent years he has been using palm leaves as a material in his sculptures featuring sharp, natural forms with motifs of wind, light, and water. These pieces with a primordial energy evoking ancient memories demonstrate new expressions in the world of lacquer.
