Tochigi Prefectural Museum of Fine Arts featured the work of Showa-era printmaker, sculptor, and manga artist Kenji Suzuki in a 2018 exhibition marking the 30th anniversary of the prewar proletariat artist’s death. Suzuki was also prominent in the postwar Northern Kanto printmaking movement. This retrospective held with the support of Suzuki’s family displays more than 100 donated works and documents related to his life, along with works by artists from the same era.
