Setsuko Hara
National Film Archive of Japan celebrates actress Setsuko Hara (1920-2015) on the 100th anniversary of her birth. This screening series surveys her career playing young women, wives, an mothers with her early through late works, including Ozu masterpieces such as “Late Spring.” A total of 23 films will be shown.
