Chiaki Kobayashi
Voilld presents the first solo show for Chiaki Kobayashi (b. 1996), a graphic designer, illustrator, and artist who has worked for various culture magazines and other media. Depicting people, food, and items from daily life, her single-scene drawings composed of simple lines remind us of computer graphics. Around 20 illustrations with wavering lines express the artist’s conflicted feelings about this world of chaos and restricted freedom. Original merchandise created in collaboration with Kobayashi is also available.
