Mitsunobu Sugiura
This is the first exhibition of all 20 pieces in a series Mitsunobu Sugiura has been working on since 2001. Each small work is made of layers of acrylic paint and sand. The titles of each work comes from the artist’s favorite gospel, R&B, blues, soul music artist name or song title. While Sugiura has participated in numerous group exhibitions since the 70s, this will be his first solo exhibition.
