Calm and Punk are excited to introduce Wade and Leta, the Brooklyn-based husband and wife artistic duo. Wade Jeffree and Leta Sobierajski will be presenting their first international exhibition in Tokyo entitled “Music To Your Eyes.” Bringing their distinctly optimistic, unapologetically vibrant, and supremely fun world of explosive colour to Calm and Punk’s gallery space, the exhibition will take place over the course of two weeks.
Music to your eyes is a concept Wade and Leta use to describe their work, which they define as visual music. Similar in concept to audible music, everything we look at and engage with has its own rhythm. Through the use of multiple mediums ranging from photography, wall reliefs, inflatables and a virtual reality experience they will encourage visitors to enter their world of insatiable optimism and explosive color.
