Artists

Taichi Nakamura
The exhibition title ‘Ipiria’ is the name of a spirit passed down between generations of the aboriginal people of Australia. Taichi Nakamura paints with an eye on the coexistence of the environment and humans. Known for drawing landscapes that are imagined from the suburbs around the city, Nakamura’s 2011 exhibition ‘Temptation of the Landscape’ had already showcased work with a strong impression of green that depicts spirits. This clear respect and interest in the nature, faith, and mythology of Australia continues in his latest work.
