This exhibition is a home-binding project started by Harutaka Matsumoto. The concept is to apply the Japanese rope/binding culture to homes. So far, 42 homes have been bound in and outside of Japan. This exhibition taking place in Shinshu, considered the homeland of Japanese binding culture, is the last and will be followed by a symposium marking the end of the project.
