Keiji Yamabe
Keiji Yamabe is currently the manager of the record store “Los Apson” in Koenji, but he also works in various fields - as a DJ, an artist, a magazine editorial supervisor. In June 2021 he held his solo exhibition for the first time in 20 years, titled “Scum of the Earth!”, where he presented collages, paintings and mix CD-Rs. Alongside with music, his interpretation of various matters such as ethnology, philosophy, religion, and process, generates his individual approach that can not fit into just one genre.
“Beyond the Sexy Girl” is composed to be a sequel to the “Scum of the Earth!” and as supposed from the title, “girl” will be the topic of the works presented.
