Mitsuru Ishibashi
Recently, Mitsuru Ishibashi found a collection of work related to the 3.11 disaster. They seem to have been created mainly in the short period after the disaster. It includes a series of work based on the true story of the rescue of preschool children by the Naval destroyer Takanami. In this retrospective exhibition, we have prepared a series of copperplate etchings as well as uneven paper prints using Ishibashi’s original technique. This retrospective will include about 25 works.
