For its 70th anniversary, the Japan Professional Photographers Society presents “Contemporary Japanese Photography 1985–2015,” a compilation and exhibition of photography history. Part 1 focuses on a global golden age of graphic journalism, Part 2 looks at the rise of digital photography, and Part 3 considers how Japan-made digital cameras swept the global market. 152 leading photographers from this 30-year period are featured.
