*Maison Hermès will reopen from June 2 (Wed.).

The first exhibition in Japan by Mathieu Copeland, a pioneering curator based in France and England. The show explores the dual meanings of “cuttings,” as in the artificial approach to growing plants, or as in newspaper cut-outs or film edits. It samples “cuttings” from the archives for Copeland’s previous exhibitions. Works include sound installations and the documentary “The Anti-Museum: An Anti-Documentary.”
