Artists

Sachiko Kazama
This exhibition derives from Kazama’s large-scale woodcut print work “Dyslympian 2680”, which was released in 2018. In the main work of this exhibition, “Dyslympian Nine War Heros”, Kazama portrays nine athletes who have been trained to represent the pride of their country. Each of these athletes portrayed on aluminum has its own social background and dramatic stories to tell. This exhibition aims to look back at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics through the portraits of the nine heroes.

*This exhibition is part of Art Week Tokyo.
