Since her debut as a picture book author in 1967 with “The Land of Buttons,” Ms. Kayako Nishimaki has published numerous picture books. In particular, “My One-Piece” is a long-selling picture book beloved by young children since its publication in 1969.

This exhibition will feature lithographs of “My One-Piece”, “Haketa yo Haketa yo” written by Toshiko Kanzawa, and “Elephant” by Michio Mado, as well as original drawings, materials the artist uses every day, and rough sketches.
