This is a photography exhibition by four students of the Department of Photography and Imaging Arts, Faculty of Art and Design, Kyushu Sangyo University Graduate School. These works focus on “nature”, “artificiality”, and “change”. The ongoing pandemic has changed people’s expectations and plans, but it has not stopped us from observing and exploring the world in front of us.
Li Ruoqi expresses interest in people encountered in the process of exploring the river environment. Jia Shichao focused on the situation in their hometown affected by human invasion to the mountains. Chen Yiffng cut out the fragments of the constantly changing city. Zeng Xiangyu explored the historical changes and perceptions of people by overlaying the landscape of the Manchukuo era with the today’s landscape.
We believe that this exhibition is an opportunity to observe the environment and people around us, as well as an opportunity to reflect on ourselves.
