Taro Okamoto
The artist Taro Okamoto traveled all across Japan and around the world, researching cultures and peoples from an ethnological perspective. From 1957 to 1966, he travelled from Tohoku to Okinawa and published texts on these experiences. This exhibition introduces photographs and writings from these travels along with Okamoto’s paintings and sculptures from the same time period.
