Hikaru Fujii
Hikaru Fujii is an artist who uses video archives and materials as inspiration to investigate historical events such as wars and disasters, and through dialogue with the people who live in those places, offers new perspectives and perspectives on issues that people are still facing today. The work ‘Record of the Bombing’ focuses on the issue that the Tokyo Peace Memorial Museum, which was planned to be created in order to pass on the records of the Tokyo Air Raids and the war, has not yet been established due to disagreements over historical understanding. This time, this “Record of the Bombing” will be re-exhibited as a special project of the Maruki Art Museum’s exhibition on the atomic bombing.
