This exhibition focuses on artists whose works are highly poetic, narrative, and lyrical, expressing inner feelings and emotions, work that has a pop, fantasy, or fantasy feel like children’s paintings, as opposed to epic art that seeks the beauty of external forms.
This exhibition, the seventh of its kind, features two artists: Sayo Yokota, who paints melancholic boys and girls in color watercolor with a rich poetic sentiment, and Tomomi Hasegawa, whose soft-touch oil paintings invite viewers into a fantasy world like a fragment of a dream.
