Junkyu Muto
Sculptor Junkyu Muto’s “Circle Wind” series can be found at holy sites around the world such as the Vatican. In March, he unveiled an Ishinomaki monument to those lost in the Great East Japan Earthquake. In 2020, he was awarded the 69th Kahoku Culture Prize for this monument and his achievements thus far. This exhibition features maquettes of his Holy Land sculptures and other works.
