Chieko Kogure is an illustrator who works on art for books and advertisements, while also actively creating and presenting paintings and other work. She creates many colorful works that combine motifs of plants, trees, animals, etc. with patterns and shapes.
The work presented here was created by spending an afternoon in a park full of nature, away from her work desk. The images that come to mind in the afternoon light are made into paintings and semi three-dimensional works, which are scattered throughout the space and exhibited.
