"Exploring the History of Hong Kong Cinema" Screening Event

National Film Archive of Japan, with the special cooperation of the Hong Kong Film Archive, presents a special screening of Hong Kong cinema. Following the history of cinema in Hong Kong, it features a selection of 21 representative films from each era. It is an opportunity to discover the works such as Cantonese opera adaptations, literary cinema, melodramas, and hidden works of the "Hong Kong New Wave", which have not been screened or had few opportunities to be shown in Japan.
Audience capacity: 310 (all seats reserved/change each screening)
