Pursuing the expression of pencil, Izumi Akiyama is a remarkable contemporary artist who is active in solo and group exhibitions as well as art fairs in Japan and abroad.
The delicate expression of light spun with soft brushstrokes gives us the feeling of gazing into a haze and invites us into a mysterious world. The still life that stands quietly in the large space is surrounded by silence as if time has stopped, and a moment of peace is experienced with each viewing.
In this exhibition, more than 20 of her new and recent work will be on display.
