“The Case against Perfection" is an exhibition series organized by Masahito Zoshi and Haruka Fujibayashi. Nine people including the organizers and a team of artists will hold an exhibition for two people every other month. The second exhibition will be Shoko Toda and Ai Mieda's "Grasping the Wave, Walking with the Earth.”
In order to organize an art exhibition for two people, the organizers conducted research on the exhibiting artists in advance, interviewing them about their motives for starting their works, all their past works, etc., and created a concept based on the contents of the interview. The exhibition aims to spotlight the experiences of the artists through their words and to provide a glimpse of the processes by which they express themselves.
