Yuki Muramatsu
Yuki Muramatsu was born in Yamanashi Prefecture in 1988. After graduating from Tokyo Polytechnic University's Department of Design, he has been working as an illustrator for various media, mainly magazines, while at the same time holding exhibitions and running artist-run spaces. In 2018, he was selected for Wonder Seed 2018.

Muramatsu's work has always depicted still life such as tools, vessels, dishes, plants, and other everyday scenes around him, but this tendency has become more pronounced since the COVID-19 pandemic. In his solo exhibition held in 2020, he made paints by crushing soil and stones from Yamanashi, where his grandmother lives, and used paper from his birthplace, Ichikawamisato, Yamanashi, where handmade Japanese paper is produced.

This exhibition will consist of new work that shows Muramatsu's sincere attitude of respecting painting and living away from Tokyo.
