Artists

Yuma Tomiyasu
Yuma Tomiyasu’s (b. 1983) installations blur distinctions between real and unreal and feature themes such as psychic and paranormal phenomena and the world of dreams. She believes that important things are hidden in our society, which tends to exclude and avoid unexplainable things, and creates works where viewers can experience the world with five, or sometimes even six senses. This exhibition connects to the exhibition “Aperto 15” (21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa) and the piece "The Pale Horse”, which is inspired by a dream she had as a child. In addition, this exhibition also features Tomiyasu’s paintings and sculptures.
