The Ueno Royal Museum holds a special exhibition every summer to introduce works from its collection, this time featuring works by printmaker Tetsuya Noda (1940-). The museum owns more than 100 works from the “Diary” series (1970-1981), which has been Tetsuya Noda’s life work since 1968.

Starting this year, the museum will be presenting a series of three exhibitions of Noda’s works. The first exhibition, titled “Tetsuya Noda’s Prints - I: In Everyday Life,” will feature works related to the printmaker’s time in New York, his family and daily life.
