Shunkyo Yamamoto
Shunkyo Yamamoto, born in Shiga Prefecture, was one of the leading painters of the modern Kyoto art world during the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa eras. Shunkyo's landscapes, created with help of cameras, are the essence of his art. This exhibition commemorates the 150th anniversary of Shunkyo's birth and introduces his representative works from the museum collection.
