Oita Prefectural Art Museum has a collection of approximately 5,000 artworks and related materials from artists who are from, or have a connection to, Oita. This exhibition introduces selected masterpieces from various genres. Displays include new acquisitions such as a kimono by the dyeing and weaving artist Machiko Furusawa and the Nihonga painting “Cloud” by Heihachiro Fukuda, which will be shown for the first time since its restoration.
