Akinori Matsumoto's work using bamboo that moves and makes sounds has been presented in the past in the first-floor hall of the former Daiichi Bank and in the civic plaza of the former Yokohama City Hall, where they were well received by many people. Recently, he has also presented his work as a collaboration with Rinko Matsumoto's colorful and mysterious cat “Hoppe".
This time, in conjunction with the Kitanaka Brick & White summer fair, Akinori Matsumoto + Rinko Matsumoto will present "Bamboo Paradise.
During the exhibition, Rinko Matsumoto's Hoppe will also make its lovely appearance in the windows and on the walls of various stores in the area.
