Art Lab on the second floor of the Nagano Prefectural Art Museum's main building aims to be a "laboratory" where visitors can use senses other than sight to appreciate artworks. Junichi Kanebako, a researcher of “musical instrument interfaces,” is developing musical objects that transform sound and light into vibrations so that people with and without visual or hearing impairments can enjoy them together.
