Art Meets" is a two-person exhibition introducing the activities of mid-career artists with the aim of discovering creative routines through art and experiencing diverse ideas and sensibilities. Arts Maebashi has been holding this project on an annual basis. The seventh exhibition will introduce Tomomi Goto and Naoko Tamura.

Goto's works include an hourglass made of salt collected from seawater in various regions, and plants and other objects arranged as if they were human organs. Tamura's works include photographs that capture the ambiguous atmosphere of the subject, "textography" printed on Polaroid with a typewriter and double-exposure photographs in which two images captured with a time lag of several years are burned onto a single sheet. Both artists' works are in the same vein as seen in our daily lives.
