"Cinema: Lost and Found 2022" Screening Event

The National Film Archive of Japan presents the "Cinema: Lost and Found 2022" program starting May 3 (Tuesday, national holiday) for the first time in four years. This year the exhibition is featuring newly discovered and restored masterpieces of Japanese cinema, with a total of 58 films and 19 programs. During the festival, there will be talk events by experts and researchers of the museum, as well as screenings with narrators and musical accompaniment. We hope that this will be an opportunity for visitors to see the results of the museum's recent film preservation and restoration activities.
