Emi Mizukami
Solo exhibition by Emi Mizukami, organized by 4649 (Four Six Four Nine).
In general, the process of creating a painting is completed through the layering of the paint, however, Mizukami does not include the final image in her paintings. She is interested in the possibility of appreciating the hidden part of works that are still hidden in paint and its invisible layers, and intentionally incorporates such elements in her works. It can be said that her paintings are an accumulation of time-based actions and an interactive experience that can be completed through imagination.
