Gold— In Search of the Eternal Shine

Hayashibara Museum of Art
Finished
Gold is the metal that has been fascinating people around the world from ancient times. Its beautiful shine has been the symbol of wealth and power, and the unchangeability of this metal even after a long period of time, has made it been regarded as a sacred one. It has also been actively used in ceramics, swords, costumes, paintings and other to enhance the appeal of the objects. We hope to welcome you to this exhibition, where the unfading shine of the gold in Japanese art will be introduced.
