The Okuroji Art Fair spotlights 112 years of history in Tokyo’s Hibiya, Ginza, Yurakucho, and Shinbashi districts, going back to the roots of art fairs to convey the excitement of contemporary art.
Admission is free, and gallery tours will be offered twice daily with explanations in the gallery owners’ own words. There will also be a space for showing video works separate from the exhibition rooms, creating an environment where both seasoned art collectors and art novices can watch at their leisure. On Thursday, March 10, the first day of the event, visitors can enjoy cocktails and soft drinks with tickets to Art Fair Tokyo.
