This exhibition features works by photographer Ihei Kimura from the Canon Photo Collection.
Kimura was a pioneer of snapshots in Japan during the Showa period (1926-1989). 29 collection works including his masterpiece "Young Girl in Akita" will be exhibited according to the themes of "Tokyo", "Akita", "Okinawa" and "people".
The Canon Photo Collection is a collection of works by outstanding Japanese photographers that Canon MJ has been collecting for the development of photographic culture since 1994, and currently holds more than 1,900 works.
