Kazuo Shiragaー Commit to Taking Action

Miyazaki Prefectural Art Museum
Finished

Artists

Kazuo Shiraga
An exhibition introducing the collection of works by abstract painter Kazuo Shiraga (1924-2008).
Through approximately 70 works, this exhibition traces Shiraga's career from his early landscapes to oil paintings of the 1950s, when he shifted to abstraction, and to his large, dynamic paintings drawn with his feet. In addition, it also features the works Shiraga created during his visit to Miyazaki Prefecture and various materials from that period.
