Photographers’ gallery presents an exhibition by Kazuyuki Kawaguchi, who takes photographs in areas closely related to the history of the Ryukyu islands, such as Amami Oshima, Kikaijima, Ihyaajima, Izenajima, Iejima, and Okinawa Islands.
The "Prospects" series is an attempt to discover the "future" and "prospects" of the region through photography, taking into account its historical nature. This exhibition will feature various changing and unchanging scenes and landscapes of Ryukyu islands, taken over the 15 years of fieldwork.
