Koji Ishikawa
Koji Ishikawa photographs the environments and social situations he encounters on travels, taking into account the functions of his camera and lens, as well as the characteristics of photography and light, in an attempt to generate augmented images that differ from reality. This exhibition recreates Ishikawa's playful “garage” bringing together various objects collected on road trips. Visitors can relive Ishikawa's journey and point of view through not only his photographic works but also deer antlers, rocks, tools, and other materials he uses during photo shoots.
